Cushion, farmhouse style “Hermès”
To preserve the beauty of your fabric for as long as possible, we suggest that you add salt for your first wash (a tablespoonful for about a load of laundry) to help fix the colors, especially the darker tones. Always wash in cold water, and make sure you turn your cover inside out before putting it in the wash.
To slip the cover on, it's best to hold the stuffing on one side and slide it into the cover, i.e. don't lay the stuffing flat. Don't try to tuck the whole side in at once, slide a little on each side at a time, holding the end of the zipper corresponding to the side you're working on to avoid forcing the seams.
Don't try to place the padding during the operation, do it when the cover is completely slipped on, so you can slide your hand in to place the shape. Don't forget that it could take several days for the cover to take on a more elegant shape due to transport. You can save time and help by patting the cushion vigorously from time to time.
